Artist's Description

This is one of the tiniest insects I have ever photographed. This little guy was no longer than my fingernail when stretched out. It is incredible that I caught him out of the corner of my eye while walking down a road full of these little flowers. Anyway, this was taken near Sweetwater, TX, on April 16, 2012.

About Ryan Smith

Ryan Smith

I have been photographing nature in all facets around Texas for about 15 years now. Fueled by both an admiration and respect for nature, my goal is to adequately present the viewer with the natural world through my lens. I count myself incredibly fortunate to witness and photograph the many things I have encountered and hope to continue to do so for many years.
